I was originally a girl from Colorado who moved to Arizona for work. I had ZERO intention of raising chickens, and actually a general aversion to birds. I loved my cat and wanted a rose garden in the backyard of my first home.  It wasn't until I met my now Husband, Ty, that the dream changed.  He begged me to get chickens, and in fact started down a rabbit hole about chicken farming and bought several books on Amazon  to convince me. I still didn't want to do that until one day I perused Cackle Hatchery's website to look at cute baby chicks. Their little faces won me over, and we ordered 4 Barred Plymouth Rock chicks! I had no idea that it would become an obsession, but soon after we ordered 4 more chicks and a goose, and then 9 more chicks after that. Now we have a small operation going, and our feathery pets lay the most delicious eggs!

Our rainbow of eggs is hormone free, free range, and cage free! They live very happy lives in our backyard where they have a chicken mansion and a garden which they frequently terrorize and fertilize... We love our fluffy dinosaurs, and we hope you will too!
